Day Off?

What do you do when you have an unscheduled day off? I found out this morning that I didn't have to go into work so this is what I decided to do:





I have been dying to start this quilt made with Bali Pomegranate Batiks. The colors are so pretty and could even work well as a Christmas quilt.Now that it is all set on my wall, I can start working on getting blocks sewn together. Hoping to have it finished in the next couple of days.

    I love that block pattern! Does it have a name? You've picked the perfect fabrics for it, too.

    When I have an unexpected day off, I have the unfortunate habit of filling it with chores. I like your solution much better!

    I'm not sure what the name of the block is. It is from a pattern called Iced Tea I got at my LQS. I think it was called that because it originally used the Bali Iced Tea collection.
